What manual transactions are
A manual transaction records a payment you took outside the system, such as a check or cash, so it shows up in your history alongside your online payments. Recording one does not move any money; it is a bookkeeping entry that keeps your records complete. Start one from the green New transaction button at the top of the dashboard (labeled New donation on a nonprofit account), then choose Manual transaction.Recording a single transaction

Importing transactions from a file
To record many past transactions at once, use Import Tx on the Add Transaction screen. This opens the Import Transactions window, where you can:- Download the example file to see the exact format expected
- Choose a file from your computer, then click Import
Match your file to the example file’s columns before importing. Starting from the downloadable example is the easiest way to avoid formatting errors.
